Location Recording

With our laptop, portable interface, high-quality pre amps, and a wide variety of microphones, Hear and Now is a great choice for recording your next performance, recital, showcase, lecture or rehearsal. Options include various mic setups, as well as taking signal directly from your board, or splitting the signal with the PA mix.

Our basic mobile recording rates is $350 for up to a 4.5 hours to include 1 hour set up/take down. I will provide a CD of the performance/event with a quick mix and edit, or provide you with the “raw” audio tracks to be edited elsewhere. Extra charges may apply for additional mixing of multitrack recordings, travel or for longer events. Rates can be flexible depending on your type of project/ensemble. We give discounts for multiple bookings. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.

Location Recording Rates for Non-Profit Groups – non amplified

Package 1 — $300

Location recording 2.5 hour maximum concert plus travel and set up time of 1.5 hours. Includes 24 bit digital stereo recording with back up. May include additional microphones and tracks depending on venue and size and type of ensemble. Additional 2 to 3 hours mixing, editing and mastering to stereo CD format. 2 copies of CD master delivered to client. Additional on-site time billed at $45/hour. Discounts are given for multiple sessions.

Package 2 — CD sales package.

No up front costs. CDs are sold to performers only.

Same services as package 1 but includes duplication and CD sales pre order minimum of 30 CDs at $10.00 each. Additional charge of $2.00 per CD for handling and postage unless CDs are distributed by the client. CDs are in envelopes with printed labels or direct printing.
